I know I've still got A LOT to learn,
but these are the kind of thoughts that have been coming to me lately while driving home at night.
I can't help but to think about everything while driving home.

learn your roots, and always love your ground.
treat your mother and father the way you would want your own child to one day treat you.
always practice love by simply and genuinely loving, before it's too late.
stop wasting your life.
there is never an excuse for disrespect.

if someone doesn't treat you right, don't settle for less.
forgive them, yes.
but make sure to marry the kind of person that you would want your own child to marry.
hold on tight to your faith even if the darkness tries to rob you of all your sight.
know the fine lines in discernment, and stop flirting with them.
never stop praying.
nobody is looking, but God always is.
nobody sees it, but God always does.

stop putting things off, because chances are- they'll never get done.

sometimes people do things without thinking, as do you.
treat your boyfriend the way you would want another girl to treat your brother.
be kind, but don't forget to be honest.
don't ever hold grudges, they will only poison you.
take walks to clear your mind.
be strong in the LORD.
be strong in the person God made you to be.

there are so many elderly people in the world with so much wisdom.
take the time to listen to all of their stories.

the person who raised you might have wronged you, but don't forget all the times you've wronged them.
never ever bite the hands that feed you.

don't always listen to your heart, most times it's deceiving you anyway.
don't ever let anything or anyone tear you away from your family.
blood will always be thicker than water.
fight only over things that matter.
and laugh at the silly little things that come your way.
stop talking and just listen.
listen to the voices of the people who raised you, loved you and sacrificed so much for you.

unless they're asking you to disobey God.
you know, it's true what they say: the truth will set you free.
just like the truth of the gospel does.

learn to let go of people who treat you wrong.

don't hold onto the fear of what other people might say or think.

respect yourself.

be strong in your convictions, don't ever let anyone dictate your decisions.

choke your insecurities before the devil makes them choke you.
don't let all of your blessings puff you up, love people and share your blessings with them.
open your eyes.
the physical appearance of men will eventually fade away.
always pay close attention to the goodness and the selflessness in someone's heart.
take your bad habits, and fight them to death.
don't test the ones you love.
know God, love God, talk to God, walk with God, glorify God, enjoy God.
because after all, nothing else really matters.
and I know I say this a lot,
but I wish I could convince you, I wish I could convince the whole world, but I can't.
but you know what?
I still believe in prayer and I still believe in miracles.
so I'll stay hopeful and hold onto that.
