this past Sunday, me and my big sissy rounded up some of my other big sissy's favorite ladies to par-tay it up as we send the lady off to the married life. again, it still hasn't really hit me that my sister will basically be moving out in a week to live with some dude named... Christian? (just kidding, Christian! love you!) anyways, we knew we wanted this day to be filled with things that Reinna loves and obviously, what she would want to do...

sister loves her sisters and super good lady friends (although, photo is missing many others).

sister loves to be dressed comfortable as much as she possibly can.

sister has always loved eating weird, exotic things... which, I give her big kudos for.

sister loves adventure, which made way for an amazing scavenger hunt!

and sister loves paint fights, and has always dreamed of having one.

and so, after the scavenger hunt we all met at the park to do just that (except, with dust!)

ready, set, go!

so much fun, so many laughs and so many stories. oh! and if you haven't already read my sister's post about it, go and do it because hers is much better at storytelling! but I try, I try.
and for the sake of my own storytelling, what did I love about that day? I loved that Reinna got to finally try alligator and rattlesnake hot dogs, especially since whenever I bring it up she always gets so excited and eager to get out and try it. I loved how everyone else was willing to try alligator (maybe not rattlesnake). I loved how all of us ladies were running and driving around town looking for things to mark off on our scavenger hunt list enable to get more points. I loved how I got honked at four times (sorry, guy on the bike who I probably freaked out! I was just on a misson! you know how it is!!!). I loved how competitive everyone was. I loved how Reinna had to do some really embarrassing things that she probably would rather not do, but she got a good laugh out of it anyway- just like we all did. I loved how even though my team lost 5 points for being 5 minutes late to our first meeting to swap Reinna from car to car, the other team also lost 5 points for being 5 minutes late to the park. I loved doing the champion's happy dance. I loved how much fun Reinna was having the whole time, and how happy she was. I loved how down everyone was to get down and dirty in holi colors. and I especially love that Reinna wouldn't have wanted to spend the day any other way.
yeah, it's still kind of weird to think about how the wedding is practically ONE week away (oh my!). and as we finish up all of the crafting and as we continue to cross off final things on our to do list, I'm sure it's bound to hit me. and like I've said before, I might just ball my eyes out as I watch her walk down the aisle... but till then, I'm okay!
ruby-sister, you're a master of creativity and planning. *high five*
rein-sister, I'm just gonna take these last few days I have of living with you, and both love the heck out of them and maybe even annoy the heck out of you! just like the good old times, sissy. ;)
God is good, and it was a beautiful time with beautiful ladies.
